![]() This is a return ticket (normally for within only Zone A unless you specify otherwise). You should use this ticket straight after purchasing it. This ticket is valid for one journey only (normally within only Zone A unless you specify otherwise). Here is a guide to the different tickets that are available for the metro in Valencia: Note that the prices for each ticket are given in a separate table further down on the page. So, before buying a bus or metro ticket, consider whether you are also likely to be using the metro and whether one of the combined tickets might be a better option. It is worth noting that many of the combined tickets also cover the buses and metros in Valencia (see our Guide to Transport in Valencia for further details on the buses and metro). There is also a special family pass that can be used at weekends - the F2 (see below for more details). If you have children who are aged six and under, they can travel for free. Lastly, it is worth noting that there are special deals for families. If you are a student, you may have a Carnet Jove which saves you money on selected tickets (see below) and if you are over 65 you can get some impressive reductions on the monthly pass price (see below). It is also worth noting that ticket prices vary depending on your age. These are all ways of saving money, rather than just buying individual tickets. If you are coming to Valencia for a longer period you may wish to consider the Bonometro (valid for ten journeys) or the TAT if you will be in Valencia for a whole month (see below for more details). If you are staying for a weekend you may want to consider the T-2 or T-3 (like the T-1, but for two or three days respectively). For example, if you are only in Valencia for one day, you will either want to buy a single journey ticket (if you only plan on using public transport once) or a T-1 (which will allow you unlimited access to public transport in the centre of town). As you will see from the chart below, there are different tickets available for different time periods.
